In a major address at the Masjid Muhammadi in Golconda Fort, a prominent religious leader urged Muslims to follow the Quran’s teachings in their daily lives. Maulana Al-Haj Qari Syed Matin Ali Shah Qadri, the President of the All India Qiraat Academy, spoke to a large crowd on August 17. He stressed that it is very important for people to not just read the holy book, but to truly understand and practice its guidance.
During his speech, which was also a tribute to two late scholars, Maulana Shah gave important advice on how to read the Quran. He explained that it should be recited with Tajweed, which means using the proper rules of pronunciation. He warned that simply reciting the words without the right heart and rules is not beneficial. He also praised a respected teacher, Hazrat Misbah-ul-Qura, for his immense love for the Quran and his dedication to teaching it to his students with great compassion.

Another speaker, Maulana Shah Muhammad Jal Ahmad Nazmi, also shared his thoughts. He reminded everyone of the importance of the Baitullah, or the House of Allah in Mecca, and why Muslims should appreciate its great significance. The event served as a powerful reminder for the community to connect their faith to their actions.
Around 200 students and adults attended the lecture.
