In recent by-elections across several states in India, the INDIA bloc parties have shown strong performance. According to the latest Election Commission (EC) website updates, INDIA bloc parties have secured victory in four assembly seats and are leading in six others.
Meanwhile, the BJP has won one seat, with one additional seat and an Independent candidate leading as counting continues. The bypolls, held on Wednesday, covered 13 assembly seats across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Tamil Nadu.
Key parties like the Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) participated in these elections under the INDIA bloc umbrella.
