Chicago – October 14, 2024
With Election Day just three weeks away and a busy campaign schedule ahead, Vice President Kamala Harris is set to have her first interview with Fox News.
The network shared on Monday that Bret Baier, its chief political anchor, will speak with Harris on Wednesday in Pennsylvania, a key state in the upcoming election.
The interview will be pre-recorded in the afternoon and shown later on Baier’s “Special Report” show at 6 p.m. ET.
This decision follows Fox News’ invitation for leading presidential candidates to join a debate scheduled for late October.
However, Republican nominee former President Donald Trump declined following their earlier debate in September. Since launching her campaign, Harris has faced criticism for not doing many sit-downs with traditional news outlets.
She has recently increased her media presence with notable appearances, including an interview on “60 Minutes” that aired last Monday.
