Chicago – November 16, 2024
Donald Trump has chosen Karoline Leavitt as his White House press secretary. Karoline Leavitt, 27, is currently working with Trump’s team to help with the changeover to his presidency. She will be the youngest person ever to have this job.
The previous youngest was Ronald Ziegler, who was 29 when he became press secretary in 1969 during Richard Nixon’s time as president.
President Trump praised Karoline for her excellent work during his campaign, calling her a smart and tough communicator. He expressed his confidence in her ability to handle the role effectively and convey his administration’s plans and ideas to the public.
Thanks for the opportunity; Karoline thanked President Trump on X, which used to be called Twitter. She said she was honored and excited to start working.
The role of the White House press secretary is very important. They are the main spokesperson for the president’s administration and usually talk to the media almost daily to give updates and answer questions.
