A top UFO expert says President Donald Trump’s decision to declassify old government files on UFOs could reveal a big cover-up. Nick Pope, a former UK Defense Ministry official, believes the government has been investigating UFOs for decades and might be hiding something.

Pope thinks there might be a “smoking gun” in the files that could prove some UFOs are extraterrestrial. He says many people believe the government knows more than it’s letting on. The CIA says it’s already made some records public, but Pope wants more information to come out.

Trump’s move to declassify the files might be a smart one, according to Pope. He says Trump has a good sense of what ordinary Americans are interested in, and this could be a big deal for many people. Pope praises Trump’s willingness to take on topics that might not be popular with everyone.
