Chicago – March 09, 2025

In Uttar Pradesh, India, a troubling event took place where a group of Hindu extremists attacked four Muslim women. 25-30 young Hindus entered their homes, using violence and bad language.

Muslim women were dragged out of their houses and paraded in the streets, some even stripped and humiliated. Shockingly, many people in the crowd recorded the abuse on their phones instead of stopping it.

This attack is seen as part of a bigger problem of religious hate, which some say is being encouraged by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Critics believe the BJP’s policies have given extremists more power, with no consequences for their actions.

The Godi media is not giving it the attention it deserves. This silence from both the government and the media has caused anger, with many questioning the safety of minority communities in India.
