Chicago – August 20, 2025

On August 19, 2025, former U.S. President Bill Clinton celebrated his 79th birthday. To honor the occasion, the Clinton Foundation invited supporters worldwide to share their wishes.

In a public message, it said: “In honor of President Clinton’s 79th birthday, we’re celebrating his vision for a better future. Will you sign his birthday card to let him know you share his commitment to a better world?”

The birthday celebration not only marked a personal milestone but also highlighted one of Clinton’s greatest achievements—the Clinton Foundation. Founded in 1997, the nonprofit has grown into a global force addressing challenges such as health care access, climate change, women’s empowerment, and economic development.

Its Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is particularly well-known for lowering the cost of HIV/AIDS treatment, helping millions in developing nations.

Alongside Hillary Clinton and their daughter Chelsea, Bill Clinton has built a network of partnerships with governments, businesses, and community organizations that continue to shape lives worldwide. The Foundation’s projects, from renewable energy to disaster relief, reflect his lifelong belief in cooperation and shared progress.

As Clinton entered his 80th year, the celebration doubled as both a birthday tribute and a reminder of his enduring legacy in global philanthropy.
