Dr. Saman Zehra, a talented researcher at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been honored with the esteemed Young Scientist Award at the International Conference in Chemistry (ICC) 2025. The conference was held at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in Hyderabad.

Dr. Zehra’s groundbreaking research focuses on developing “Smart Multi-Functional Coatings for Controlled Corrosion Protection.” Her work contributes significantly to the advancement of sustainable materials, which is crucial for a greener future.

As a part of the Department of Applied Chemistry under AMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Zehra has made notable contributions to her field. She is also a participant in the Women Scientist Program (WOS-A) of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), which aims to promote women in science.
