Trump’s Reaction to Russian Airstrikes
Former US President Donald Trump has strongly criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin after Moscow launched a massive aerial assault on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. Trump expressed shock at Putin’s actions, stating that he has “gone absolutely CRAZY!” and is “needlessly killing a lot of people”. The airstrikes resulted in at least 13-29 deaths and dozens of injuries, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemning the attacks as politically motivated and lacking military justification.

Kremlin’s Response
The Kremlin responded to Trump’s remarks by dismissing them as an “emotional overload” affecting all parties involved in the conflict. Trump, however, remains adamant that Putin’s actions are unjustified. Interestingly, Trump had previously maintained a good relationship with Putin but now claims that something has changed, leading Putin to act irrationally.

Growing International Pressure
Trump’s comments come amid growing international pressure on Russia to agree to a ceasefire. Reports suggest that Ukraine’s allies have lifted restrictions on the range of arms supplied to Kyiv, potentially allowing strikes deeper into Russian territory. This development has added to the tension, and diplomatic efforts continue to try and resolve the conflict. Trump also criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, claiming that he is not doing his country any favors with his words and that the war would never have started if Trump were president.
