A Heartwarming Display of Unity
In New Delhi, a group of Hindus showed kindness to protesters near Jamia Millia Islamia University by forming a human chain to distribute water and snacks. This act of communal harmony was captured in viral videos and showed unity during a time of rising tensions. The Hindus carried posters that read “Hindu-Muslim Bhai Bhai” (Hindus and Muslims are brothers), and they stood patiently in line to help.

Assisting Protesters in Need
Many protesters were fasting due to the heatwave, and the Hindus’ gesture was a much-needed relief. The protesters were demanding policy reforms, and the demonstration was organized by student groups. Despite heavy police presence, the atmosphere remained peaceful as the two communities interacted positively.

A Beacon of Hope
Social media users praised the act, calling it a “beacon of hope” in divisive times. Local leaders commended the effort and urged others to follow suit. This incident reminded people of India’s shared humanity and the importance of unity. It showed that even in difficult times, people from different communities can come together and show kindness to one another.
