Chicago – December 26, 2025

Kamran Rasool Aman, a 33-year-old Pakistani national, was tragically murdered in what police are investigating as an unprovoked racist attack. The incident occurred late Friday evening as Aman was on his way to deliver food to his mother.

Witnesses reported that Aman was approached by a group of men who allegedly shouted racial slurs before attacking him. Emergency services arrived swiftly, but Aman was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple injuries.

Local police confirmed that an official homicide inquiry has been launched, with hate crime investigators leading the case. Community leaders have condemned the attack as “a horrific act of hate,” urging for justice and stronger protection for ethnic minorities.

Family and friends described Aman as a “kind, caring son” devoted to his family. A community vigil is being planned in his memory, calling for unity and an end to racial violence.
