In the upcoming US presidential election scheduled for November 5, Arab and Muslim Americans face tough choices. Many from this community are distancing themselves from Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
They are unhappy with her role as Vice President under Joe Biden, criticizing Biden’s strong support for Israel in its conflict with Gaza, which they view as harmful.
Instead, a significant number of Arab-American Muslims are now supporting Donald Trump, who they feel has better experience in handling complex issues.
Trump has called for a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict, hoping to prevent further violence in the Middle East. He has clearly expressed his policies on foreign affairs, immigration, housing, and job quotas during his campaign speeches.
After surviving two assassination attempts, Trump is viewed by some as a resilient and strong candidate, gaining more support from Muslims voters who believe he can lead America effectively.
