Did you know that some of Bollywood’s biggest stars were born in Pakistan? These stars show how connected India and Pakistan are.
Dilip Kumar, one of the greatest actors in Bollywood, was born in Peshawar, Pakistan. His real name is Yusuf Khan. He moved to India when he was young and became a famous actor. Another superstar, Raj Kapoor, was also born in Peshawar. His family moved to India, and he grew up to be a legendary actor and filmmaker.
Sunil Dutt, a famous actor and politician, was born in Jhelum, Pakistan. His family moved to India during the partition. Sunil Dutt went on to have a successful career in Bollywood and even became a member of Parliament.
Shahrukh Khan, also known as the “King of Bollywood,” has roots in Pakistan too. His father was born in Peshawar, and Shahrukh has often talked about his family’s history and how he wishes to visit Pakistan someday.
