On Thursday, the opposition INDIA alliance announced plans to bring adjournment motions concerning the NEET row to both houses of Parliament on Friday. This decision came from a meeting held at the residence of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge.
The opposition intends to address several issues during the debate on President Droupadi Murmu’s address, including NEET, inflation, unemployment, alleged misuse of agencies like the CBI and ED, and concerns about the governor’s office. Opposition members will gather at the Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex on Monday.
After the meeting, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said, “Several issues were discussed today in the meeting… There will be a debate on all the issues in the Parliament, whether the President’s address or the election of the speaker.”
The INDIA alliance is gearing up to raise these critical issues and ensure they are thoroughly debated in Parliament.
