Rahul Gandhi is set to intensify his campaign in Haryana as the party aims to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Assembly elections on October 5. This will be the second phase of his campaign, including a series of public rallies across several districts in the state.
On Thursday, Gandhi addressed rallies in Assandh, Karnal, and Barwala, Hisar. According to party sources, he is expected to begin the next leg of his campaign in Naraingarh, Ambala district, on Monday. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also likely to join him.
During the campaign, Rahul Gandhi will visit districts like Yamunanagar and Ambala, with stops at key locations before heading to Kurukshetra, including Ladwa, where Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is running for re-election.
The Congress leader is expected to continue his campaign until the official canvassing period ends on October 3, working alongside state leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Kumari Selja as the party looks to end a 10-year gap from power in Haryana.
