Former President Donald Trump held a rally in Michigan Friday night where he criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for attending an event with Beyoncé in Houston as tensions rose in the Middle East.
Speaking to the crowd in Traverse City, Trump highlighted that, while Israeli forces were engaged in intense military operations, Harris was “out partying,” adding, “At least we’re working to make America great again.”
The Trump campaign also released a statement showing Trump earlier in Austin with the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, who undocumented immigrants allegedly killed.
The statement said, “Kamala will be partying with celebrities… and doesn’t care about families hurt by illegal immigrants in her America, where Americans feel like second-class citizens.”
Trump further stated that Harris is struggling to gain support in Michigan, especially among Arab and Muslim communities, saying, “She’s in a freefall.”
He claimed Harris contributed to job losses and crime and criticized her priorities during a time of heightened conflict in the Middle East, concluding that President Biden is “asleep” while Harris “is at a dance party with Beyoncé.”
