Former President Donald Trump held a big rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, drawing a lot of excitement from his supporters.
New York is usually a strong Democratic area, but the 19,500-seat venue filled up quickly, and tickets sold out within three hours.
New York Representative Elise Stefanik told Fox News that the crowd was full of energy, adding, “This is amazing as we reach the final part of this campaign.”
People started arriving as early as Saturday to make sure they got in since it was first-come, first-served seating.
Trump’s supporters included people from many backgrounds, like Muslim-Americans, who said they were hopeful about his policies. They shared hopes for peace, prosperity, and an “America First” approach.
Trump’s rally showed he still has strong support, even in places where Democrats usually have a big presence.
