Engineer Mujeeb Osman, CEO of a renowned engineering firm, and Engineer Abdul Majid recently visited the Qutub Minar in Delhi to study its design and historical value. They admired the monument’s durability and fine craftsmanship, calling it a true inspiration for modern engineers and architects.

Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of India’s most famous landmarks and a masterpiece of early Indo-Islamic architecture. Built in 1193 by Qutb-ud-din Aibak and later completed by Iltutmish and Firoz Shah Tughlaq, the 73-meter tower is made of red and buff sandstone with beautiful carvings and Quranic inscriptions.

Its five tapering storeys create a stunning visual effect, while the surrounding Qutub complex includes the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque and the Iron Pillar, both remarkable for their historic and artistic value.

Beyond its architectural beauty, Qutub Minar remains a symbol of Delhi’s cultural richness and centuries-old heritage, representing the perfect blend of skill, art, and history that continues to inspire visitors from around the world.
