US President Donald Trump, in a post on social media platform Truth Social regarding British citizenship, has termed India a Hell Hole.

The journey of India’s diplomatic isolation and disgrace at the international level is still underway. US President Donald Trump, in a post on social media platform Truth Social regarding birthright citizenship, has termed India a Hell Hole.

India’s global image has also been severely damaged due to the violent and extremist policies of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which are based on Hindutva ideology. Indian opposition party Indian National Congress has termed President Donald Trump’s statement as highly insulting and anti-India.

The Congress leaders were of the view that keeping in view Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s track record, it cannot be expected from him to respond to the US President. Congress said Narendra Modi has proven to be a weak Prime Minister, and the entire nation is suffering its consequences.

On the other hand, global experts say that describing a country as a Hell Hole reflects a state that is extremely devastated and in a condition of misery in terms of basic human rights. They said that such anti-India statements by US President Donald Trump clearly indicate a growing rift in bilateral relations between the United States and India.

The expert further said that Narendra Modi’s global humiliation and disgrace mark a shameful and dark chapter in India’s history under his leadership.
