Nekima Levy Armstrong Among Those Arrested

Federal authorities confirmed Thursday that a prominent civil rights attorney and at least two other individuals have been arrested in connection with an anti-immigration enforcement protest that disrupted a church service in Minnesota.
The protest took place Sunday at Cities Church in St. Paul, where demonstrators entered the building during a religious service. The church’s pastor is also an official with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), according to federal officials.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on social media that civil rights attorney Nekima Levy Armstrong had been taken into custody. She later confirmed that a second individual involved in the protest was also arrested.
FBI Director Kash Patel subsequently stated that a third arrest had been made, signaling an ongoing federal response to the incident.
