Chicago – February 11, 2026

Learning Arabic is essential for understanding the Holy Quran and Hadith. With this objective, the Arabic Festival is being closely connected with schools to encourage students to begin learning Arabic from an early age. This initiative aims to help them understand the teachings and commands of Allah and His Messenger, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him), so they may lead their lives accordingly and attain success in both this world and the hereafter.

These views were expressed by Mr. Syed Waqaruddin Ali, Secretary of the Rahbar Society, during the Arabic Festival program held at NS School, Asif Nagar Jhra. He stated that for the academic year 2025–26, special efforts are being made to directly link schools with the Arabic language so that students can study it at the school level itself.

To promote the Arabic language, the Rahbar Society in collaboration with the Moving Media Bureau is organizing Arabic language workshops, seminars, and competitions in various schools.

At the Arabic Festival program held at NS Public School, Jhra Asif Nagar, the special guest was US-based businesswoman Ms. Shehla Khan. She appreciated the initiative and described it as the need of the hour, emphasizing that learning Arabic from childhood would enable students to better understand and follow the teachings of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH).

Mr. MD Dawood Ali Khan and Mr. MA Wadood attended the event as distinguished guests. The school guardians, Mr. Naz Khan and Mr. Shaheen Ali Khan, expressed their full support for all initiatives aimed at promoting the Arabic language and announced the introduction of formal Arabic language education at NS Public School.

Prizes were distributed to students during the Arabic language question-and-answer session. The program concluded with Mr. M. Wadood thanking the school administration, teachers, and organizers for their efforts.
