Alderman Debra Silverstein visited the two Jewish community facilities in the neighborhood who are expanding their services and community presence, highlighting continued investment in local healthcare, education and community life.
The tour included the Midwest Refuah Health Center, which provides a growing range of healthcare services, including pediatrics, family medicine, behavioral health, dentistry and diagnostic imaging. The center aims to provide accessible healthcare services to residents within the local community.

The tour also included the new Peterson Park Kollel, also known as Kollel Zichron Eliyahu. The facility provides a dedicated space for Jewish learning and community activities and is emerging as a gathering place for neighborhood residents.

The Alderman’s visit highlights the growth and development of local Jewish institutions and their role in providing healthcare, education, religious learning and community resources.
The facilities’ expansion reflects broader efforts by local communities to strengthen neighborhood services and invest in long-term community development.
