Former President Donald Trump made a notable appearance at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night during UFC 309, surrounded by a host of celebrities and political figures. This event marked his first public outing since his victory in the presidential election on November 5th, where he defeated Vice President Kamala Harris.
Donald Trump entered the venue with an impressive group that included UFC President Dana White, business magnate Elon Musk, Speaker Mike Johnson, former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, musician Kid Rock, activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, alongside his sons Donald Jr. and Eric.
The crowd at the Garden gave Trump a loud welcome, with commentator Joe Rogan noting the overwhelming applause during the broadcast.
Ramaswamy, who had supported Trump after ending his own presidential bid, shared a photo with Kid Rock from the event. It remains unclear whether they traveled with Trump or arrived separately. Additionally, Trump has named Ramaswamy and Musk to lead the newly proposed Department of Government Efficiency, aimed at reducing government waste.
Dana White, who has often expressed that Trump enjoys mixed martial arts, hinted at Trump’s possible attendance in a pre-event interview, adding to the excitement and speculation leading up to the night.
