Georgia Republican Rep. Andrew Clyde has spoken out against judges who are preventing President Donald Trump’s policies from being implemented. Clyde, who is working on impeachment articles against a Rhode Island judge, believes that these judges are not only hurting the president but also the American people.

According to Clyde, the judges are denying the American people their rights by blocking Trump’s agenda. “You’re not just hurting the president,” Clyde said. “You’re hurting the American people because they’re the ones who elected him, and they’re the ones who want him to do this – to exercise these specific authorities.”

Clyde’s comments come after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell faced backlash from Trump supporters for a 2021 video where he emphasized the importance of courts enforcing the rule of law.

Clyde believes that Trump has the authority under Article II of the Constitution to implement his policies. However, he argues that judges are preventing the president from exercising this authority, which is also preventing the American people from addressing important issues like waste, fraud, and abuse in government.
