Apple Inc. has promoted Sabih Khan, an Indian-American executive, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Khan, who has worked at Apple for 25 years, takes over from Jeff Williams after his retirement.

Khan joined Apple in 1995 and helped manage operations, supply chains, and product development. He played a key role in making iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks successful. His promotion shows Apple’s trust in his leadership, especially during tough competition and supply chain issues.

Born in India, Khan moved to the U.S. for studies and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. Now, he joins top Indian-origin tech leaders like Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and Google’s Sundar Pichai.

Apple CEO Tim Cook praised Khan’s hard work and skills, calling him a key part of Apple’s success. With this new role, Khan becomes one of the most powerful Indian-origin executives in the tech world.
