Chicago – January 25, 2026

Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has revealed an ambitious redevelopment proposal aimed at transforming postwar Gaza into a modern, high-end seaside destination.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday, Kushner presented a Trump-supported “master plan” for Gaza’s reconstruction. The presentation included slides depicting sleek skyscrapers, luxury apartments, and a revitalized coastal skyline.

Kushner said the vision for Gaza focuses on long-term economic growth, job creation, and improved living conditions for residents. According to him, the goal is to rebuild the region into a place where people can prosper and find meaningful employment.

Drawing comparisons to large-scale construction projects across the Middle East, Kushner noted that cities designed to house millions are often built within just a few years. He emphasized that rebuilding Gaza at a similar scale is achievable if global leaders and investors commit to the effort.
