Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House to meet with President Donald Trump. This meeting is important for Israel and the United States to work together and be friends.

Netanyahu wants to make sure the Trump administration will help Israel with two big problems: Iran and Hamas. Hamas is a group that is holding 79 people hostage, including six Americans.

President Trump wants Netanyahu to make a deal with Hamas, but this might be hard for Israel. Some people think this deal would let Hamas stay in power.

Netanyahu is happy that President Trump invited him to the White House first. He thinks this shows that the United States and Israel are strong friends.

This meeting is a big deal because it shows that the United States and Israel are working together.
