Trump Praises Rubio, But Trouble Brews for Waltz
President Donald Trump praised Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a Rose Garden event, saying he relies on him to solve problems. However, behind the scenes, Trump was dealing with a different issue – his trust in National Security Adviser Mike Waltz had been shaken.

Loss of Trust in Waltz
The problem started when Waltz accidentally included a journalist in a secret group chat about a military strike in Yemen. This mistake made Trump question Waltz’s judgment and trustworthiness. People familiar with the matter said the situation had been building up for weeks.

Waltz Left Behind
When Trump traveled to Michigan to announce new investments in an Air National Guard base, Waltz was not allowed to join him. Although Waltz flew with Trump to Joint Base Andrews, he was left behind on the tarmac as Trump’s plane took off for Detroit.

Trump’s Hesitation
For weeks, Trump had been unsure about what to do with Waltz. He didn’t want to appear weak by firing him due to public pressure, and he didn’t want to give his enemies a victory. However, after 100 days in office, Trump seemed ready to make a change.

What’s Next?
The situation with Waltz is still unfolding, but it’s clear that Trump’s trust in him has been damaged. As the president continues to face challenges, the fate of Waltz’s role in the administration remains uncertain.
