Chicago – June 03, 2025

Elon Musk sharply criticized President Trump’s massive domestic policy bill on Tuesday, calling the GOP megabill currently under review in Congress a “disgusting abomination.” In a post on his X social media platform, Musk condemned the bill as “pork-filled” and “outrageous,” adding that those who voted for it “know they did wrong.”

Musk’s comments come as the Republican-led Senate begins work on the multi-trillion-dollar package of tax and spending cuts, following its narrow passage in the House in May. With only three votes to spare, the legislation’s future remains uncertain as concerns over its cost grow.

This is not the first time Musk has voiced opposition to the bill. Last week, he expressed disappointment with the package’s price tag in an interview with CBS.
