Kerry Kennedy, the sister of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has announced she will actively campaign against the Trump-Kennedy ticket after her brother dropped his presidential bid to support former President Donald Trump. Kennedy, a strong critic of her brother’s political move, called his endorsement of Trump a betrayal of their father’s legacy. She will be campaigning in Arizona, a key swing state, for the Harris-Walz ticket.
Kerry Kennedy, who was previously married to former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, plans to join labor leader Dolores Huerta, who famously coined the phrase “Si, se puede” and stood alongside their father, Robert F. Kennedy Sr., during his tragic 1968 campaign. Together, they will attend several events aimed at rallying support for Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz.
Kennedy emphasized the importance of the upcoming election, calling it “the most consequential of our lifetimes,” and urged Republicans, Democrats, and independents to unite in support of Harris and Walz to move the country forward.
