A GOP Jewish advocacy group claims Vice President Kamala Harris’ handling of the Israeli Prime Minister’s visit shows how she would manage U.S.-Israel relations if she becomes president.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu arrived in the U.S. on Monday after being invited by Congress to address lawmakers. Harris, now the likely Democratic nominee for president after Biden withdrew, did not greet Netanyahu on the tarmac.
On Wednesday, Netanyahu spoke to Congress about the horrors of Israel’s war against Hamas. Harris did not attend his address, so he chose to attend a sorority event in Indiana instead. Ahead of Netanyahu’s speech, anti-Israel protests erupted in Washington D.C., where demonstrators burned the American flag and called Netanyahu a “war criminal.”
