Chicago – February 05, 2026

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny has promised to infuse his heritage into the Apple Music Super Bowl LX halftime show, set for February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. During a Thursday press briefing, the 31-year-old artist, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, declared, “I aim to bring a lot of my culture to the stage,” emphasizing a festive spectacle focused on dancing rather than politics.

Bad Bunny, Spotify’s most-streamed artist multiple times and recent Grammy winner for Album of the Year with his Spanish-language “Debi Tirar Más Fotos,” will make history as the first headliner performing solely in Spanish. He sidestepped controversies, including backlash from President Donald Trump and advisor Corey Lewandowski, who called the booking “shameful.”

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell praised Bad Bunny’s unifying potential amid criticism from groups like Turning Point USA. An official trailer features him dancing with diverse crowds, signaling inclusivity ahead of the Seahawks-Patriots matchup.
