Veteran cricketer and Congress leader Muhammad Azharuddin shared a nostalgic moment as he reunited with his old friend and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. Azharuddin revealed the meeting through a social media post, expressing warm sentiments about reconnecting after many years.

“After a long time, met my old friend N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, the last CM of united Andhra Pradesh. A nostalgic moment reconnecting with someone I admired since my student days when he was our cricket team captain,” Azharuddin wrote.

The two leaders, known for their longstanding association both in politics and sports, exchanged memories from their university days and discussed the changing landscape of Andhra Pradesh since the state’s bifurcation in 2014. Their meeting sparked interest among political circles, highlighting a bond that transcends partisan lines and reflects shared history and mutual respect.
