Gaza Conflict Intensifies Amid Ceasefire Talks
At least 40 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, according to hospital officials. The deaths included 17 women and 10 children, with one strike killing 10 people from the same family, including three children. The Israeli military said it had struck over 100 targets across Gaza, including militants and weapons storage facilities. Israel accuses Hamas of hiding among civilians.

Ceasefire Talks Continue
US President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss a potential ceasefire. A new US-backed proposal would pause the war, free Israeli hostages, and send aid into Gaza. However, strikes have intensified, and civilians like Um Mohammad Shaaban are struggling to survive. She lost her children and grandchildren in an Israeli strike, despite being in a supposedly safe area.

Humanitarian Crisis Worsens
The situation in Gaza is dire, with hospitals overwhelmed and people struggling to cope with the violence. The conflict has lasted 21 months, and a ceasefire would bring much-needed relief to the region. As crowds bid farewell to the Shaaban family, the international community urges a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
