A Dinner was arranged at Serena Restaurant Located 2536. W. Devon Avenue, Chicago, IL to celebrate 25 years of success in News, Media and Journalism of CEO Mujeeb Osman.
CEO Chicago Patriot News Mujeeb Osman addressed the gathering and expressed his views on his Journey of Media of North America Abroad. He shared that he worked and built the Urdu Caucus of North America, Urdu Times English corner and Hyderabad Foundation Inc since their establishment in 1969 in Chicago, IL.
These institutions were integrated by Prince Barakath Jah Mukaram and Muqaram Jah Prince Bahdur planting the Seeds of Urdu in North America.
I have worked as a Hyderabad based Deccan individual at the First Radio station which was established in 1950. I have completed my 25 years of success in English media and journalism in Chicago. – Mujeeb Osman
History of News, Media & Journalism:
Some pioneers that worked for promotion of Urdu and English journalism in America include Dr Abdul Rahman Nakadar,MD who ran Detroit based The Muslim Observor, Dr Azher Qader, MD and Gani Dasai, IIT, MCC as well. Dr Asif Ali Hashmi and Dr Shahid Iqbal, MD also played a critical role in establishment of Hyderabad Foundation.
Yousuf uddin Owaisi, IIT Chicago along with Dr Muzzafer uddin Farooqui, Holy Family Hospital, DesPlain, IL & Bilquees Farooqi, Prospect Height,IL and Habeeb Hasan- uddin, Oak Park, IL and many more are credited for the success of media and Urdu in America.
