In a recent interview with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity, Elon Musk, the CEO of DOGE, shared his thoughts on why he endorsed President Donald Trump. Musk stated that he was already planning to support Trump before the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania.

When Hannity mentioned that Musk’s endorsement came after the incident, Musk replied, “That was a precipitating event.” This suggests that the attempt on Trump’s life was a significant factor in Musk’s decision to publicly support him.

Musk’s endorsement of Trump was a significant moment in the campaign, with many believing it played a crucial role in Trump’s success. Democratic Senator John Fetterman noted that Musk’s support was not just about the endorsement itself, but also about Musk becoming an active participant in Trump’s campaign.

Fetterman also commented on Musk’s appeal to certain voters, saying, “He’s incredibly successful, and some people see him as a Tony Stark-like figure.” Fetterman warned that Democrats should not underestimate the impact of Musk’s endorsement, stating, “Endorsements aren’t usually meaningful, but this one is.”
