Iranian Missile Strike Hits Israeli Hospital
A major hospital in southern Israel, Soroka Medical Center, was hit by an Iranian missile on Thursday, causing extensive damage to the hospital’s old surgical wing. Fortunately, the wing had been evacuated a few days prior, and only minor injuries and cases of shock were reported. The hospital, which has over 1,000 beds and serves around 1 million residents in southern Israel, has requested people not to come for treatment due to the damage.

Israeli Leaders Condemn the Attack
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to take revenge for the attack, saying, “We will exact the full price from the tyrants in Tehran.” Foreign Minister Israel Katz called the strike a war crime and stated that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would be held accountable for his actions. Other missiles hit residential buildings near Tel Aviv, resulting in additional casualties.

Escalating Conflict
The Israeli military reported that over 400 rockets and hundreds of drones have been launched from Iran since the conflict began. As of Wednesday, 24 people were killed and 838 wounded in Israel. Following the attack, Israeli leaders instructed the military to intensify strikes on strategic and government targets in Tehran, potentially escalating the conflict further.
