Man Beaten for Refusing to Chant Religious Slogan
A disturbing incident has been reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Sehore district, where a Muslim man named Shakir Ali was allegedly beaten by a group of men. The attack occurred after Ali refused to chant “Jai Shri Ram,” a religious slogan associated with Hinduism. According to local sources, the group demanded that Ali chant the slogan, and when he declined, they assaulted him.

Investigation Underway, Justice Sought
The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and are investigating the matter. No arrests have been made yet. Political leaders and activists have condemned the attack, calling for strict action against the perpetrators. This incident is one of several cases where members of minority communities have been targeted over religious slogans.

Communal Tensions in Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh has witnessed several communal clashes in recent years, with critics accusing hardline groups of enforcing religious conformity. Authorities have urged calm, assuring that justice will be served. The incident has sparked outrage, and many are demanding action to prevent such incidents in the future.
