Israel and Iran Accept Ceasefire Plan
Israel and Iran have agreed to a ceasefire plan proposed by US President Donald Trump, aiming to end their 12-day war. The agreement came after a series of intense attacks on both sides. Iran launched a final barrage of missiles at Israel, killing at least four people, while Israel carried out airstrikes targeting sites across Iran. Despite the ceasefire, both countries have reportedly violated the terms, with Israel detecting another Iranian missile launch hours after the agreement.

Violations and Concerns
President Trump expressed disappointment about the continued attacks, stating that both Israel and Iran have breached the ceasefire. “They violated it, but Israel violated it too,” Trump said, adding, “I’m not happy with Israel.” The situation remains volatile, with sirens sounding in northern Israel and explosions heard as Israeli air defenses fired.

Aftermath and Implications
The ceasefire agreement marks a significant development in the conflict, but the situation remains fragile. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed Israel’s agreement to the ceasefire, stating that Israel had achieved its main goal of eliminating Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile threats. However, his office warned of forceful retaliation against any breach of the truce. The international community will be closely watching the situation to ensure the ceasefire holds.
