Chicago – May 09, 2026

Iftekhar Shareef’s daughter, Simra Shareef, has achieved a significant academic milestone by graduating with distinction from Loyola University Chicago.

Loyola University Chicago is a prestigious Catholic institution founded in 1870 and widely regarded as one of the leading campuses in the United States. Marking over 150 years of academic excellence, the university provided the backdrop for this proud family moment.

Iftekhar Shareef expressed heartfelt gratitude to family members and close friends who joined to celebrate Simra’s success.

Among the notable attendees were Mohammed Asaduddin “Abbas,” son of former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin, and Anam Mirza, both of whom traveled from Hyderabad, India, to be part of the celebrations. Their presence added warmth and cross-border camaraderie to the event. Simra’s accomplishment stands as a testament to dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence on an international stage.
