Former world boxing champion Ricky Hatton has died at the age of 46, police in Greater Manchester confirmed on Sunday morning. Hatton, affectionately known as “The Hitman,” was found at his Hyde residence, with police stating there are no suspicious circumstances relating to his death.

The legendary British boxer captured world titles in both light-welterweight and welterweight classes, amassing 45 wins in 48 fights during his celebrated 15-year career before retiring in 2012.
