The Eid-ul-Adha prayer was held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Northshore Holiday Inn in Skokie, Illinois. The event was organized by the Central Eid Committee of Greater Chicago and drew a large gathering of worshippers from the local Muslim community.

Event Details

The prayer was conducted in three batches to manage the crowd smoothly and ensure orderly participation.

  • First Salah at 9:00 AM, led by Imam/Khateeb Syed Ali Quadri.
  • Second Salah at 10:00 AM, led by Imam/Khateeb Moulana Syed Moazzam Hussain.
  • Third Salah at 11:00 AM, led by Imam/Khateeb Moulana Abdul Rahman Quadri Pasha.

The structured timing allowed families and individuals to attend the prayer comfortably while maintaining discipline throughout the event. Each batch had around 500 men and women.

Community Gathering

The prayer reflected the strong unity and religious spirit of the Greater Chicago Muslim community. The arrangements made the large-scale gathering peaceful, accessible, and well coordinated.

The successful conduct of the Eid-ul-Adha prayer showed the importance of organization, cooperation, and shared faith during one of Islam’s most significant celebrations.
