Chicago – July 20, 2026

Mr. and Mrs. Ajaz Hussain hosted the Walima Reception for their son Syed Irfan Hussain with Bride Dr. Nuha Fatima. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nusrath Ali Khan and is a MBBS Dr from KSA and Islamic scholar by profession. The event was arranged at Shalimar Banquets, Addison, IL on July 19, Sunday night.

The groom is an MBBS doctor as well.

The festivities began after maghrib prayer, both ladies and men’s section offered the prayers. Later appetizers consisting of Chicken Pakora, Shrimp Tempura and Dahi Baray were served. The three course meal consisted of scrumptious main course dishes like Hyderabadi Biryani and Chicken Curry. A Chocolate Fountain and Ice cream station grabbed the attention of all kids and adults. Around 750 guests attended the event.

Many of the groomsmen gave short speeches about the groom and described his personality with a touch of humor. A guest also performed Sahra which is a short poetry speech about the groom and his family.
