Chicago – June 22, 2025

The Congress government in Karnataka made history today as it completed two years in power. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah implemented the sixth guarantee of his government, granting ownership of homes to over one lakh SC, ST, and OBC families in the state. These families had been living on the outskirts of villages for decades.

Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, during the Samarpan Sankalp rally in Vijayanagar, handed over digital documents of home ownership to 1,11,111 people. Congress is not stopping here – within the next six months, they plan to give land ownership to the remaining 50,000 families.

Additionally, the Karnataka Congress government has declared 2,000 settlements as revenue villages, ensuring better facilities such as good roads and clean water for the people living there. Furthermore, the state government will now use technology to start digital registries and deliver land ownership papers to households.

In just two years, the Congress government in Karnataka has fulfilled every promise made to the people of the state. With one historic move after another, they are transforming the lives of the people, proving that Congress doesn’t make empty promises but delivers on every commitment made to the public.
