Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has publicly stated that he deeply regrets ever associating with Jeffrey Epstein, following renewed scrutiny sparked by the latest release of Epstein-related documents. The revelations have reignited questions surrounding Gates’ past interactions with the convicted sex offender and the impact those ties had on his personal life and public image.
Gates’ former wife, Melinda French Gates, previously hinted at serious issues describing “muck” within their marriage and suggested that Gates still has unresolved questions to answer regarding his relationship with Epstein. Her comments have gained fresh relevance as newly released files shed light on Epstein’s extensive network of high-profile connections.
Among the most serious claims circulating in the recent document release is an allegation that Gates concealed a sexually transmitted disease from Melinda after alleged encounters with “Russian girls.” The claim originates from a 2013 email allegedly written by Epstein, which suggested that Gates attempted to secretly provide antibiotics to his wife to prevent infection.
Speaking publicly on Wednesday, Gates firmly denied the allegations, calling them entirely false and misleading.
“Apparently, Jeffrey wrote an email to himself. That email was never sent. The email is false,” Gates said. He added that he does not understand Epstein’s motives, suggesting the disgraced financier may have been attempting to damage his reputation. “I don’t know what his thinking was there. Was he trying to attack me in some way?” he said.
