Chicago – March 25, 2026

First Lady Melania Trump shared the spotlight with a humanoid robot at the White House on Wednesday, where she hosted the final day of the “Fostering the Future Together” global education and technology summit. The event, convened through her global initiative, brought together first spouses and international leaders to discuss ways to empower children using innovation, technology, and artificial intelligence.

The robot, identified as Figure 03, walked alongside Trump down a red‑carpeted hallway into the East Room, drawing immediate attention from guests and cameras.

Once in the room, it took a central position, scanned the audience, and delivered remarks in multiple languages, thanking the first lady for the invitation and expressing pride in joining the initiative to advance children’s education through technology.

The sight underscored the summit’s focus on integrating AI and robotics into classrooms, as Trump emphasized the need for deliberate, responsible adoption of these tools in youth learning programs.
