Chicago – April 29, 2026

Dr. Nuzhat Shakoor, daughter of the late Brigadier Abdul Shakoor Malik, has alleged that she is facing harassment, unlawful eviction, and workplace retaliation linked to a long-running property dispute.

According to her account, officials associated with Fauji Foundation Hospital Rawalpindi and connected military personnel raided her family home, damaged the boundary wall, disrupted electricity, and removed household belongings. She said the property, located at Jahaaz Chowk on the main road, was also sealed after she was forced to live in a hostel.

Dr. Shakoor alleged that Brigadier Munir Lodhi, the hospital’s pediatrics HOD, pressured her to withdraw a partition suit and later caused her termination through false complaints. She claimed she was dismissed from Fauji Foundation Hospital two years before retirement after working there for years. She further alleged that repeated appeals to Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir did not bring relief.

She also accused certain individuals of using the property for illegal activities, citing a cantonment board letter and claiming the house was converted into a problematic site. The allegations have not yet been independently verified. The matter appears to remain tied to court proceedings, including petition number 3593/23.
