Alok Sharma, Director of the Special Protection Group, urged engineering students at Aligarh Muslim University’s Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology to focus on applied knowledge, innovation, and practical problem-solving during the Project Expo 2025-26. He said engineering should go beyond theory and contribute directly to technological progress and nation-building.
The expo, held at ZHCET, showcased student projects across engineering disciplines and created a platform for demonstrating technical skills and creative ideas. AMU officials praised the event for encouraging interdisciplinary learning, research culture, and stronger links between classrooms and real-world industry needs.
Guest of honour Sunil Dutta also called for closer collaboration between colleges and industry, saying skill-based courses can help institutions become centres of learning and earning. The event reflected AMU’s growing emphasis on innovation-led engineering education and practical training.
