IAS coach and keynote speaker Sameer Ahmed Siddiqui challenged social traditions at the 4th Hyderabad Education Expo held on May 9–10, 2026, at the Kings Crown Convention in Mehdipatnam. He strongly criticized spending massive amounts of money on wedding celebrations instead of children’s futures and urged a complete overhaul of traditional schooling goals.

Sameer mentioned that it is a great sorrow that a nation cannot progress when it spends more money on children’s weddings than on their actual education.

Urged parents not to give children an education that turns them into clerks, peons, or basic laborers, but rather an education that places them in the category of masters and decision-makers.

He highlighted that educated individuals carry the responsibility to raise a powerful voice for every section of society.
Furthermore, Siddiqui spoke about the importance of early childhood development, encouraging parents to allow children to learn through real-life experiences and challenges.
