Morning Edition: 15 Aligarh Muslim University Candidates Receive Appointment Letters at Rozgar Mela in Agra, India

Fifteen candidates from Aligarh Muslim University received appointment letters during the 19th edition of the nationwide Rozgar Mela organised in Agra on Saturday.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the programme virtually through video conferencing and addressed newly recruited candidates at 47 locations across the country.

The regional-level event for Agra was held at the Officers Club, Agra Cantt, where Union Minister of State Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel attended as the chief guest and inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Around 200 candidates recruited in various Central Government departments received appointment letters during the ceremony. Among them were 15 AMU candidates, including Dr. Ambar Khan, Dr. Muzamil Latief, Dr. Atika Javed Siddiqui, Dr. Tanuj Mathur, Dr. Mohammad Atif, Dr. Mohammad Baqar Abbas, Dr. Razeen Fatima, Dr. Akash Priyadarshi, Dr. Shakir Ahmad Naikoo, Dr. Diwan Taskeer Khan, Dr. Abdul Shakil, Dr. Abdul Moid, Dr. Ali Imran Usmani, Dr. Moidur Rahman and Dr. Gulam Sarwar Khan.

The Rozgar Mela initiative has been launched by the Government of India to provide employment opportunities to youth and accelerate recruitment in various ministries and departments.
